Yesterday was the last day of the Daniel Fast and I lost a total of 12 lbs in three weeks and my body feels amazing. I'm super alert and focused. It's taught me that I do have control over what I eat and it doesn't control me. I've also learned that what I put in my mouth definitely reflects how my body operates. After the fast, I feel so much healthier and have WAY more energy then I did before it. I'm so glad I did it and I would do it again in a heart beat. Right now I'm slowly adding meat and dairy back into my diet, but I'm still going to keep my diet mostly fruits and vegetables just for the fact that they make me feel so awesome! Another thing that I've noticed on the fast, was that my skin is so much clearer. I don't know if it's just from cutting out all sugar or drinking only water, but it's awesome!!
