Well, I need to eat a healthy, organic clean diet that is in low carbs in order to lower my blood glucose, blood pressure and LDL cholestrol. Since I should be following a higher protein diet due to the MGUS it seems that the NEW Atkins diet maybe the right choice for me]
163.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

1533 kcal Fat: 90.07g | Prot: 85.17g | Carb: 98.88g.   Breakfast: Smoked Salmon, cream cheese, cream, egg, English Muffin. Lunch: tuna in oil, celery, hellmans olive oil mayannaise. Dinner: California Avocados, low fat pesto, tomatoe, brown rice pasta. Snacks/Other: carrot, herbal tea with almond milk, green tea with almond milk, cheese jarlsberg, Kozy shack no sugar tapioca. more...

Today I stayed in calorie range but ate 83 grams of carb and only 22 protein. I had already planned dinner before deciding to do the Atkins, so will do better tomorrow. Will send for the new Atkins book.
