Something isn't working out. Starting again, few days on attack and see how it goes,
If I stall again after the first few lbs I'll look into something else, probably a VLCD or something like the cambridge because this isn't really working for me. I'm having to take laxatives because of the high protein and I'm very bored with the food choices now, but I NEED to be 125lbs by June 6th so one last try and we'll see how this goes.
161.4 lb Lost so far: 8.4 lb.    Still to go: 26.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
steady weight

You will do it. I can't help with why since I don't really know what you are eating. I really piled on the veggies on the PV days and didn't have trouble in the BM department. I exercised every morning as well so I think that keeps things moving as well. Have you started exercising??....it might be the kick in the pants your metabolism needs.

I've been exercising since the end of January :( I started with 30 minutes cardio every other day and ramped it up to 1 hour (20 elliptical/20 rower/20 resistance) and I've lost just under an inch from my waist but that's it, weight wise I just keep bouncing between 160 and 164 everyday, but can't ever get through the 160 barrier. I think it's probably a few things combined that's causing it - 1 I'm pretty close to being the lowest weight I've ever been in my adult life. I'm pretty sure the lowest I weighed was when I was 18 and even then I was in the 150's, it's probably going to be really hard to get through these next 10lbs..and also, I think my fats were probably too low. I know the Dukan wants low fat meat but it's like my body won't give anything up if I eat a little bit of fat, whenever I have something like salami or a fattier type of meat I lose more quickly...but it may just be coincidence! Yesterday I had 2 protein shakes to bump up my calories and I've dropped 1lb...so I'm thinking that maybe I wasn't eating enough, even though it felt like I was eating a lot. I think I'm going to do 30 minutes of working out everyday instead of 1hr every other day and we'll see how that goes! I really pile on the veggies on my PV days, I mainly eat broccoli/spinach/mushrooms/peppers maybe I need some more fibrous vegetables...? Definitely still relying on good old Laxido at the moment though! I'll switch it up slightly and see what happens

I just started Dukan and I have a couple philosophical issues with it, mainly around the low-fat dictum. Out bodies need fat. I keep getting sucked back in by the promise of losing x pounds by x date but I have a hard time thinking about being on a diet that advocates avoiding fat. I also have a hard time eating meat all day. That said, if you are at the lowest point in your adult life, that is great!! I was poking around the Dukan chats for paid coaching members (they pop up whenever you Google a detail of the diet) and the mods all say that sometimes a plateau is your body adjusting to a new weight. Maybe mix up your exercise? Do strength if you are dojng all cardio or do something different. Our bodies are bery efficient at adjusting if we aleays do the same thing. Be careful with laxatives! You don't want to have to rely on them for the long term.
