bbunny's Journal, 25 January 2013

Have been an on and off dieter for years...lost about 70 pounds when I was in my 20's, but finding it much more difficult now. I don't have all that extra time to exercise, and I have a kid who screams for mac&cheese everday. Gonna do it anyway!
Started officially on November 1st with a work-based fitness challenge. I started out at 244.5 lbs (pretty much the heaviest I have EVER been, outside of when I was pregnant- and that wasn't much more...)I started writing down my foods and weighing daily. As of January 22 I had been steadily losing, slowly. I had been as low as 231.5, then backslid for a week or so and was at 238 when I stepped on the scale 1/22. That was the day that I re-committed to LowCarb. In the three days after that I dropped back down to 231.5, now I am looking forward to dropping a lot more. Utimately, I have about 90 more pounds to lose. Seems like a lot, but if I keep at it, I know it can be done!
231.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 91.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Once you get get back in the groove, I would try to find 30 minutes a few times a week to get in a little exercise. It will help your heart, burn calories, build muscle and help you firm as you go. It might also kick up the weight loss. It also helps you get in to smaller sizes faster.
