It's really hard to create a habit when my life is constantly in flux. My work schedule and commute is always changing. I keep trying to figure out when I can get into the gym. It's been 3 weeks since the vet refilled my dog's prescription and I still haven't found the time to pick it up!

I suspect I will only be successful at fitting exercise into my life if I get up earlier in the day but that is to awful to contemplate right now. I like to sleep in more than just about anything else in life, lol. I actually like the gym I go to but there's just all these other things I want to do, too. I've got to keep in mind the disappointment I will feel when summer comes and I am still flabby and weak.

Getting up earlier....yep that is what I am doing. I am proving that I can get to work by 6am so I can change my schedule to leave at 2:30pm. And then I can get to the gym before it gets busy and do an hour and still be home by 4pm! Now this is the plan, always good to have a plan. Next week all my other classes start, so I will have to put the second half of my plan into action and actually go to the gym and not home to my puppies and comfy couch!!! Right??????

Rubie-sue, you made my day today. That is too funny. If I got up and got to work by 6am, my husband would die of shock. As it is, he drags me out of bed at 7:30 and has a cup of coffee waiting for me. But then, I usually stay up until well after midnight. Change is hard. You inspire me though.

I start work at 7 every day, but I finish at 3pm which is great in the summer. I still struggle a bit to get up at 6am, & even at weekends I am up way earlier, but I have to be in bed by 10 or I am no good to man or beast! Change is hard but it can be done :)

So last night I got into bed before 10 but ended up watching TV until like 11:30. I did manage to get up and out of the house by 7am which is a historic moment for me. On the clock by 7:40 am. So far, so good, except now I am hungry and I usually don't eat breakfast (bad, I know!).
