Good morning, buddies!

Well, it's hump day. I have a (I hope) reasonably easy day ahead of me at work and after, and my cold/sore throat is a little better.

I tried to exercise today, but that turned out to still be a no-go. I can't breathe well enough for that just yet.

I did pretty good on my calories yesterday. I went over a tiny bit, but I also moved around a lot more than I have done recently, so I am perfectly okay with that. We're talking 8 calories, so no biggie.

Most of my excess calories went to cough drops yesterday. I need those, but of course had I wanted to I could easily have skipped or cut down something else through the day. Oh, well...

The post-Indulgence Day weight is coming off, nice and slow. I think some is also simply from my body throwing me curve balls these days, as I'm tired, sick, and had two days of both work and teaching on top of it.

Fortunately, the rest of the week at work should be very accomplishable. I mostly have administrative work, so I can close my door, listen to music and just get it done. Nice.

I slept a little later today, as I woke up coughing around 1 am. I was then awake for about 1½ hours. Again. I did that yesterday too, only I never went to sleep again.

This morning I decided to stay in bed and sleep, and I was in no way capable of getting out of bed when the alarm when off for Wife. So we agreed that I would sleep in a little.

When I woke up, there was a little plate for me with my boiled eggs, and a thermos with fresh made coffee. Now THAT is love. Thanks, babe!

...

My stomach has been all bubbly last night too, and I am sure that has kept me from sleeping too. Hopefully this is a sign of "a soon to come large weight loss", if you get my drift. I haven't had much success in that department the last few days, probably as I haven't moved much until yesterday.

I hate when that happens. Congestion makes me not feel well, and I get easily irritated. It stresses me. And when I stress, I want to eat. So, having my stomach working is pretty important for me. It's not very often that I have these issues any more though. I'm thankful for that.

So, I'm about to get ready for work - one mustn't be late. I'm happy I got some more sleep - I feel like a whole different person!

So, today I'm thankful for:
- getting some extra sleep
- Wife taking care of me, prepping breakfast when she really didn't need to. No wonder I love her.
- Morning coffee. The best one all week.

Happy Wednesday for all. Christmas is coming closer and Denmark is covered in snow. It's pretty, but a royal pain. Please tell the weather gods to quit it. :) Life is good!

Nice Keld, Glad your feeling better! It is wonderful your wife takes care of you in hard times. I feel ya in regards to cough drops, I did not realize those damn things are 10-15 each. And when your sick, it is easy to get frustrated by that.

It's annoying that they are "high" in calories. I mean, it's bearable, but it IS something that has to be considered.

Maybe you could try using tea to substitute for the cough drops, I find it very soothing and drink a lot of it when I'm sick, and I'm ordinarily not a tea drinker. How nice of DW to have your breakfast waiting when you woke up! It's the little things :) Feel better soon!

No snow here yet ... just rain, rain, and more rain which is also a pain!

I hate it when those blasted germs make us feel so lethargic and listless. Wise move to forget the exercise - when you can't breathe! That's DEFINATELY love :-)
