kingkeld's Journal, 24 November 2012

Good morning!

It's Saturday morning, and in my good old FatSecret days, I really didn't write much in my journal on the weekends. We were always out on the go.

Today, however, I have time to write, and I want to. I just restarted this journey, and I think it's important that I write. It clears my head.

Besides, the "smart people" believe that there are three important ingredients to weight loss: Eat right, exercise and WRITE A JOURNAL!
Does it surprise anyone that the two people in the weight loss class that I teach who are REALLY moving, are writing journals? :)

So, how did it go? As some may remember, yesterday was day one of my "Yet-another-reboot"-diet.

It was easy. A walk in the park. A piece of cake. Mmmmm... cake...

Actually, I felt sick most of the day yesterday. I spent most of it sleeping. I skipped lunch, as I had no appetite and I only had a tiny bit of dinner to refuel my body and to not wake up hungry in the middle of the night and thus make bad decisions. I was at a total of 500 calories yesterday. Not good.

So, today I'm gonna be a LOT closer to my RDI. I need to put some fuel on the engine, so to speak.

My drummer is coming to pick up Wife and I, and we're gonna go out and buy a new TV. Sure, it's promoting an "inactive activity", but it also helps me better do my exercise DVD, as our TV broke. We're gonna go see what we can get. I'm excited - it's a new tv, and it's a day out with my favorite person of all, and one of our best friends.

We're probably gonna have dinner out on the town. For me, that will probably be a salad or a pita with ham or tune. Something light that I can easily decipher and register. There is no other way. I'm doing this right.

Dinner will be more Thanksgiving turkey and veggies. Not bad at all. I can easily stick within RDI and maybe even have room for a little something. I just gotta be careful that it doesn't shoot blood sugar through the roof.

And the weight? Well, I probably can't count on it, since I felt sick all day, didn't eat, etc. - but I'm down a whopping 2.7 kgs from yesterday! Damn If I can keep going like that I will be done by Friday! lol. Yeah, not gonna happen. It'd be nice though.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- A (weight wise) new beginning.
- NO temptations yesterday.
- Going out with Wife and friend today.
- New TV!
- Morning coffee.

Folks, it's weekend! Do something fun! Life is good!

Helewis, I'm in small town Denmark. If we go healthy, it's Pizza! lol. That being said, I had a pita bread (with half of it put aside), with lettuce and chicken breast. Not bad at all. :)

Well done, Keld. I guess it's hard for me to imagine what Denmark is like.

Never give up buddy...it's the key to everything. You quit trying, you lose out. Later.
