First day on the site, and enjoyed calculating calories, etc., for the first time ever! Was hoping to get somewhere near 600 - 700 calories, but with three mostly healthy meals, still ended up at 1825 cals! Was great to see how many cals and carbs even healthy Burgen bread generates - and what about the banana!
Day one down, still a success all things considered. I think Chia seeds, celery and veggie broth and eggs will be the biggest food staples.

I'll toss in my 'don't starve...' too, but note that I did it, but it's not right for everyone, and it's not great for long term. And really, the only way to do it without *feeling* like you're starving is to slash your carbs to next to nothing, so that almost all of your calories come from fat and protein. And when you do that, you *can't* really exercise, because it leaves you with no energy beyond merely walking around slowly. You've got no energy reserves to speak of. It's also tough on your kidneys, and when you lose weight fast, you end up where I'm headed - with saggy, baggy skin. I'm done with the really low calorie part of my diet too, and am slowly working my way back up to where most other people are caloriewise.
