So I'm going in the wrong direction, but after our weekend away last weekend, it doesn't surprise me that much. I was hoping to get back to 279, but 283 isn't the end of the world. I'm kaing progress towards my goal, and that's what is important. If I was to lose 1 pound per week, I'd be at my goal in under 2 years.
Yesterday I walked for an hour and 20 minutes. I was tired throughout the walk, but don't feel bad today, which is encouraging!
Today's a rest day, we're off to London (Ontario, I know not England, how sad), so have to pack and all the things that go along with that. But we have committed to working out 3 nights during the week, so we just need to make it happen!

Hi, its good to see that you are staying positive & looking at the long term goal. A few lapses over a few years is part and parcel really as long as you remember to get back onto the wagon, as I have found out all too often.
I've just finished an 8 mile walk with my dog & to think 3 months ago I struggled to walk a few hundred yards between benches.
Walking gets much easier girl so keep it up.
Good luck with your goal.

Don't beat your self up life is going to happen - and you have done so well already!!! 55lbs is VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!! Have you ever tried frittatas? I make them once a week and have an instant breakfast the rest of the week - I buy the aluminum cake pans from the dollar store fill them with my favourite fillings (I will often make 2-3 frittatas at a time and have options) one will be broccoli and cheddar, one peppers, onions and ham and one is usually what ever is left over - whip up 6 eggs and pour over the top - I bake them at 350 for about 15 min - poke the center to be sure! I let them cool cut into 6 and pop in the freezer - 30 seconds in the microwave and I'm out the door!

That's really interesting Krys - I tried something similar on South beach and found when I re-microwaved, the egg went rubbery - does it happen with the Frittatas?

I just nuked them for about 30 seconds but I think with all the veggies and other goodies in there they seems to stay ok! For me it meant no excuses I had a healthy breakfast right there it took no time at all! Any they were tasty! By making 3 at a time I always had variety so I didn't feel like I was always eating the same old thing - it's also really impressive to whip out if you have unexpected gusts - frittata instead of cookies or pastries! a nice surprise!
