I decided to take a one meal break from dieting. It's been a month and a half, so what the heck. I'll no doubt show a gain tomorrow, but it was a nice change of pace. Had the Applebees 'Sizzling Chicken Fundido' and a potato skin. Didn't eat most of the onions and peppers, though, and gave the dogs the cheese that came in the Fundido serving, so besides the potato skin, it was spicy grilled chicken, a bit of mixed peppers and onions, and some chunks of potato, thus blowing my carb count for the day to the moon.
I'll be back on track tomorrow, so I don't feel too bad about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if you see a loss tomorrow! Especially with the daily deficit you usually have, to increase your calories once in a while can be a way to "surprise" your body. I've seen that more than once!

I don't think my daily deficits are nearly that high. I think my basal metabolism is slower, such that I'm not burning nearly the calories the exercise tracker says I should be. I'm wondering if it might help to break up what little bike riding I'm doing into shorter sprints throughout the day, so as to keep pushing it up more often. (I'm not hypothyroid or anything, as far as I can tell, I just don't use the extra calories...)

I understand about the exercise tracker, the best way to know how much you burn would be one of those little devices that you wear on your arm... Sprints are definitely a great way to go, my trainer encouraged me to do sprints instead of running when I was adding cardio to my training.
