I had an organic grass-fed sirloin steak tonight. I had forgotten how good it is! Wow! There really is a difference. I have been buying conventionally raised meats, because organic is so expensive. With the amount of meat I eat on Atkins I don't know how I could afford organic meat on a regular basis... I do eat only organic veggies and dairy products, eggs, etc. Anyway, anyone else notice a difference in taste and how they feel when they eat organic vs conventional? I actually feel really amazing, too. Not that I haven't felt pretty damn good since starting Atkins, but tonight I do feel even better than usual.

I've noticed a big difference in the vegetables I get fresh from the garden, in taste and in how I feel. My DH keeps chickens so I get fresh free range chicken eggs all the time, full of more nutrition than in farm-raised eggs and there is a huge difference in the taste. Grass fed beef is the best! I'm so dying to get a cow.

How wonderful to have a veggie garden *and chickens! I miss my father's garden from my childhood and having fresh eggs and raw milk...
