I cannot fit into many of my pants which is so frustrating!!! I refuse to buy new pants since these ones are brand new. It is taken me longer this time to want to start counting calories. Let's face it, counting calories is not fun. However, I need to drop about 12 pounds. And I am going to do it. Recording what I eat always helps me cut back on how much I am eating. It also helps with the quality of food. So...here we go, day 1.

Diet Calendar Entries for 25 July 2012:
2310 kcal Fat: 123.68g | Prot: 119.63g | Carb: 129.76g.   Breakfast: Sugar, Milk (1% Lowfat with Added Vitamin A), Coffee (Brewed From Grounds), yoplait harvest peach 99% fat free. Lunch: trader joe's tuna fish, trader joe's extra virgin olive oil, trader joe's multigrain entertainers crackers, Multigrain Entertainers Crackers, apple cider vinegar, Mayonnaise, cucumber, salt, Tomatoes, green beans. Dinner: Brie Cheese, cheddar cheese, Salt, butter, Garlic, sliced ham, Merlot Wine, merlot wine, chicken breast, mashed potatoes, Bruschetta, 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Snacks/Other: Trader Joe's Dolmas, Spinach. more...

You can do it! Counting calories is the best way to change your eating habits. For me, I never realized how many calories one little item had.

I make spreadsheets out of my calories to see the averages and my weak/strong spots. Make it a game and that makes it more fun!
