I had my Gastric Bypass surgery on June 26th (2 weeks and 1 day) as scheduled. Everything went VERY well and I am doing great. I am now on my 3rd week diet (soft Diet) and will continue on it for 3 weeks. I ate 2 small meatballs for dinner tonight and so far have had no problems with them. I am being very cautious about introducing "new" foods back into my system and am taking it very slowly. So far, this has worked very well for me because I have had no problems with any food. I have not had any nausea, vomiting or diarreah, only some gas which they tell is quite normal for this type of surgery. I feel great and I KNOW that I made the correct decision regarding having this surgery. Life is GREAT, thank you God for helping me with all of this. And so it is!

Hello! I had gastric bypass 7 years ago. I have not had any problems (other than once in a while overeating). I found that when I forgot to "think" when I eat, that's when I overate and had to suffer for it! (meaning being uncomfortable and sometimes nauseous) Please remember to exercise! I went from 250 to 125. Good luck to you! I was 50 when I had it done and have never regretted it!

Hello, I had my surgery in 1997 i went from 420 to now 211. I am trying again to loose I wanna get to 160.. it is the best thing i ever did. I retrained my stomach after all these years to eat smaller portions again.. don't overeat because you can stretch your stomach and eat again.. take this from someone who did. I quit the soda again and what a differance.. I need the support as well as I will give it to whom ever needs it..
