Onward with my no scale challenge... so sad to me that i was scared to death to get on that thing and now its like a drug calling me to find out what it says!...

I'm feeling pretty motivated tho without it!... had a really good food day yesterday.. no starving.. three meals... and 3 awesome meals at that.. even a few snacks...

this no scale challenge has kinda turned into a picture challenge... i have a pic from mon, tues and this morning just to keep me focused and progressing.. the difference in 2 days (3 mornings) is nuts... and monday i felt pretty good since i wasn't as bloated as i always am after my weekends.. ha..

i do feel that finally stopping this retarded "no exercising" thing is what the difference has been.. i feel leaner.. even without the scales cooperation... i really hope that the scale does show me that i'm doing the right thing.. :/ .. but i'm so doubtful i just hope that it doesn't make me really sad that i've worked hard for nothing.

anyway.. wrapping up my longwinded journal... my jog today was even better... jogged longer... and got my time down... hurray to me..:)

Progress kicks ass! Hold on to that motivation and you're head will stay in the game. You got this. Who needs a scale anyway?! It's only a tool. The mirror speaks volumes. And congrats on the longer runs! I'm in the same boat and am stoked about it, never being a runner after all!

CJ - omg me too!... it became a challenge to prove to myself that i could do it!.. and since i'm stockier than most (especially my thighs) i'm more comfortable knowing they are big and FIRM rather than big and flabby :).. congrats to YOU on ur progress as well!!!

Tanks! I've always had bulky legs too. I used to call myself "Quadzilla" hahah. With all the running and hiking I've been doing, they've bulked up, but they've leaned up. For the first time in my life, I have the quad muscle division lines. >=)!

i would LOVE muscle definition in my legs! i mean u can see the "muscle" but i want those runner cuts in my thighs!.. what do u suggest?

I have not weighed in over two weeks and I am getting back into my workouts. I don't plan on getting on the scale unil after vacation.

Well, continue on with becoming leaner, and other than running and hiking, you can do squats, lunges, and calf raises. That's a recipe for uber sexy legs! Mreow!

When standing, you simply stand tall on your tippy toes. You'll feel your calves work. I love nice calves on a woman. Like Sandra Bullock. Mmm. Best legs in Hollywood!
