Deb_N's Journal, 16 April 2014

Just in case anyone is looking at my exercise journal, when it says I walked for 3 minutes, I walked much more than that, but my armband pedometer only gives me minutes of exercise when my heart rate is above a set level. It also tells me my steps and I get credit for that. If FS had a place to write the walking steps, I would use that. Good luck, everyone! Keep going and do not give up! You can do this!

Hi Deb, thanks so much for your daily support. Your Rock! Wow, your record keeping is great. Love the detail. I don't have lots of weight loss tools, but I do use a free app on my phone to track my walking distance and time. The app is called RunKeeper. Just in case you want to check it out. Yea you! J

I just joined a walking steps challenge and i LOVE putting my steps every day. I might even start another one when this one ends. It totally makes me walk more every day knowing I have somewhere to put it. How many steps DID you walk???

Mrsmole, I walk every day and it varies month to month. Last November I was walking 1500 steps a day on average. December was 2300, January was 3800. In February, when I was getting ready to go see my doctor, I walked 5100 steps a day on average. Yes, I was really pushing it. My steps for March were 3300 a day. Now it's April and I have been walking 2300 steps a day. I'm down. lol I need to step it up! ;)

Wow, Deb, great job. On my lazy days, I barely break 2000. On days it seems like I really try, it's about 4500. You're doing great. I imagine as it warms up, your walking will increase, too!

Your steps are good, Mrsmole. Keep it up! I plan to go grocery shopping tomorrow and hope to walk more steps and push the cart around. :)

Thank you, everyone! If I find your journals, I will support you, too! FS is getting so big now that it is hard to read everything. I have to search and search to find a topic about coffee that I started in the Community FORUM.
