I had knee surgery a few years back and was not allowed to walk for 3 months. At the time I was still smoking but decided to quit because all I did was eat and smoked all day. Well, take one away and, guess what, I doubled the eating. When I was able to walk again, I was 305 lbs. That was it! I started slow on the treadmill and doing small hikes. Did Adkins and watched Gilad on Fit TV. Got really serious about fitness this summer when I was introduced to P90x. Graduated from the program back in December and took a month off. Now I am doing it again with running added everyday to try get to the weight acceptable to possibly join the Air National Guard.
