I try to bring my breakfast and lunches to work with me everyday, and I have a good mix of breakfasts that I eat:
- Oatmeal with frozen berries all warmed up together
- Egg whites with toast (we have a toaster and microwave at work)
- Egg whites with herbs, or salsa (makes an nice omlette)
- Cereal with milk
etc.
But the trouble I seem to have is coming up with lunch ideas! I like my veggies and salads and all, but there is only so much salad I can eat. I'm also pretty picky on salad dressings and only really like one or two. Besides salads, I try to bring soups, sandwiches, etc but I'm really looking for some new ideas.
Can anyone provide some new and 'exciting' lunch ideas that I can take to work? Even just some kind of new sandwich... different from the bread, meat, lettuce, tomato, pickle sandwich I seem to make and eat repeatedly!

I'm all about the left overs! I make chicken and pork enderloin alot so I'll throw that in a container and then a small salad or some veggies to munch on. A Rice bowl you can premake and warm up maybe. As for sandwiches I use hummus or taztziki instead of mayo. Other condiments could be a healthy homemade pesto, toamto sauce, etc... Tuna and tatz with cucumber slices and spinach leaves or Tukey, hummus and roasted red peppers in a low carb wrap are a couple basic faves. Grilled veggies that are left over with slaw mix in a low carb pita or wrap with hummus is yummy too. Whatever I have for leftover I throw in a wrap.
Peak and other's food diaries, you'll find greeat ideas!

Preparing meals for work helps me too. To keep my salads from getting on my nerves I make my own salad dressing so I have the flavors I like instead of store bought. I make a lemon, Dijon, wine vinegar, EVOO that I love and keeps me liking my veggies. I add chopped jicama instead of croutons, chop up baby carrots in little round disks, broccoli & tomatoes with romaine. I know you wanted sandwich ideas but I never get full with a healthy sandwich AND I want to get my veggies in early with the salad. I agree with Thynes, sneak around at the other diaries. Enjoy!

My wife is finally bringing leftovers into work. We make sure to always at least double our meals so we have plenty of leftovers. And I keep lots of fresh veggies in the fridge, so she can just grab and go.
Also, I keep plenty of rice, potatoes and squashes, cooked and ready to go. Easy to add leftovers to those. And I keep sauces ready to throw on top.
Sure beats the sodium laden frozen meals, and saving us some dough too!
