I currently work at a gas station. I wake up very early in the morning to get to work. I bicycle 6 miles each way, which according to this little site burns a lot of caleries. One problem though, is im sure I get every one of them back when I have mtn dew to wake me up every morning. Are there any suggestions on something else I can use?

Switch to diet soda? Or a good strong coffee? The main issue with soda is the sugar (and maybe the fact that it's not really made of anything REAL, like fruit or vege). I'd tend to recommend a strong coffee and a banana before your ride, cos then you're actually getting an energy boost as well as a caffiene hit. =)
I've never met a cheese I didn't like.

Coffee with limited sugar and milk instead of cream. Or tea.

Green tea is supposed to be good for energy, if you can get used to the taste.
