Today I got to reset my goal from 250 down to 235. I made 249.3 after six months of steady fat secret tracking keeping my calories at 1500 (RDI say 2000 ,but couldn't lose weight at that calculation). I was able to drop 8#s per month consistently. I think portion size and staying away from processed foods was the major contributor. Having my wife do it with me helped a lot. Thanks to my wife, Lin, for her loving support of this.

I too eat less that what is recomended. Mine is 2700 but I eat around 1800.
I too have avoided sugars (sweets), processed foods, and watched my serving sizes. I also don't eat alot of flour foods, like pasta and crackers.
I have lost about 35 pounds in a month.
