Be aware of when this is about to occur. Then occupy yourself. Go for a walk, take a shower, call a friend, read a book, do some laundry. The key is to keep your mind focused on something other than food. Chew gum, drink tea, try some flavored, low cal drinks, if you have to have something in your mouth.

Chew gum and drink a glass of water. You will feel fuller and satisfy the need to chew.

Hand cream!! Yup, work's for me. When I get the munchies I brush my teeth(everything tastes bas after) and put hand lotion in my hand's, it keeps them busy and that way I can't touch the food!!
Good luck. MC

Salad dressing
Your best bet is to make your own if you can. I haven't been able to find a store bought one without a bunch of sugar and additives, but maybe someone else has.
