I have struggled with my weight for many years, trying over and over again, and always ending up fatter every year! this time I want to make a life style change for good. I will start off using low carb,I'm planning to use atkins as a guide but I might change the types of fats I use, mostly coconut oil, olive oils ect... but basically will follow everything else. I also will make vegetable smoothies with healthy fats added.

I don't have much experience with Atkins, but I do see people having success with it. I also see people struggling with it, but I think it goes with every kind of weight loss journey out there.
To me, what really mattered was to find something that was accomplishable on a daily basis, so I could dedicate, and stick with it, without it becoming tedious and without me giving up half way.

I found this in calorie counting. No real restrictions, I have eaten what I feel like, as long as I haven't gone over my allowance.

The journey for me has been fairly easy, and I have just completed the last step. I hope you find your journey.

Yes I get this. The main reasons tend to be sodium intake, lack of water, and hormones. I see from your food log that most days you are over 3000 and somethimes up to 5000mg in sodium. "They" ...

Have you thought of joining an Atkins challenge? You can get as much or as little support there as you want to have. :)
