Hi, I'm new to this diet app, I was reading about burning calories while you sleep, last night I slept for 10 hours and apparently burnt around 700 calories. Am I supposed to log sleep every morning as a exercise? Not all the diet apps allow you to add sleep, don't want to unwittingly go over my daily calorie allowance. :-$

Here's the thing, you should look up something called "basal metabolic rate" in order to understand what is going on while you sleep. Your body is always burning calories. Even if you slept 24 hours a day and moved as little as possible you would still be burning calories just to keep your muscles and organs alive.

the app adds by default 8 hrs sleep and 16 hrs rest, most people only add out of the ordinary activities like sport or long walks. I think that is the best approach since you know it is more conservative since it underestimates the total a bit.
