Most people see a fast drop initially and a lot of it ends up being water weight and your body adjusting to different level of intake.

Welcome aboard, Rob. What a great start! If we could only keep losing a pound per day, huh?
NCNOLE said it, it's probably water you're dropping, it often happens.
I took a peek in your diet journal, and I do see that you've had some "big days". I also see that you may have switched some numbers around when you entered your stats initially, You maybe want to do it again to fix it. You go to your food journal (where you enter your food) and follow the links at the very bottom of that page. It'll help you correct the numbers so you know how many calories to eat per day. Try to aim for 1000 calories lower than what you burn (use the exercise journal for that), and you will lose approx. 2 lbs per week. If you weight 104 kgs, then you should still have a pretty decent amount of calories available for you every day.
Make sure you enjoy them thoroughly - have good food. Make sure to have some of the food that you "can't live without", too - even if they're in the naughty section. It keeps you sane. Drink tons of water. and most importantly, make sure that your weight loss journey is an enjoyable ride. Once you make it hard on yourself and it gets tedious, it is hard to follow through every single day.
Enjoy!

It's no longer a mystery to me ! Most of it might be water (especially if you're starting your diet now) BUT and this is a big and important BUT if you're fit and 100+ Kg it's definitely possible to burn a pound/day during exercise.
Actually 3 hrs of "intense" exercise MET =10+ is a pound of flesh, so to speak, if you weigh 100 Kg. I have pretty good data and it indicates that I'm burning close to one lb in a 1 1/2 to 2hr boxing class and I'm nowhere near Marine fit, actually I wouldn't say I'm very fit.
The people who wrote the studies had a very out of shape person in mind when they labeled the intensities, it's possible to exercise beyond the intensities that are supposedly "very vigorous". The labeling and METS system (were the calories are based) misleads one to think one cannot "burn" off the fat. Actually if you are very fit and exercise a lot you can burn a lot of fat, even a lb or two a day.

You lost what?!
Ha ha ha, I can't wait to weigh in at the end of the month and see where I am. I imagine I'll be somewhere close to a sperm whale's brain.

Swollen ankles???
Yes I get this. The main reasons tend to be sodium intake, lack of water, and hormones. I see from your food log that most days you are over 3000 and somethimes up to 5000mg in sodium. "They" ...
