Is it true that there is a certain weight that the body feels it should be at? Everytime I get down to anout 125 my system jumps right back to 130! Even tho I have made more healthy choices like decreasing salt, increasing water intake and light strength training.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I have never heard that but if it's true, then I sure would feel better cause I'm having the same exact problem.

Listen to your body. It knows best. All bodies have what is referred to as an "ideal weight" and it has nothing to do with BMI / BMR charts regardless of what they say. We're all built differently. Even though the charts out there say I should weight no more than 145-150 because of my height, my body's build says I can't aim for under 160 lbs. Also, our weight will fluctuate daily due to various factors.

I've read that there is research to suggest that everyone may have a "set point" that the body moves towards, but there is no understanding yet of how that set point gets established or how it impacts maintenance after weight loss. The fluctuations you're seeing in your weight may be the result of having food in your digestive tract or other biological adjustments that don't really indicate much.
Being within 5-10lbs of you goal weight seems like a very good place to be, but perhaps increasing your exercise to something a little more strenuous might help you shave off those last couple of pounds without having to make any alterations to your diet.
