where has the barcode scanner gone

After updating fat secret today, i nolonger have the barcode scanner option on my phone HTC rezound, also my wife's LG spectrum. This was to handy to leave off can we have it back

Same for my HTC Incredible. I've let the developer know, but it's still not on there.

I have Fat Secret on my Kindle Fire and my LG Spectrum phone. It was working great on both. Kindle Fire doesn't have a camera so there is no bar code scanner choice option on that one. My phone said there was an "update" to the program, and I updated it from Amazon and all of a sudden, the bar code scanner was now gone from the PHONE. I think what happened is I updated it from the same account I was using on the Fire. I re installed it from Google Play instead of Amazon and that fixed it. Not sure if this helps but that could be the problem. I think it knows whether or not you have scanner capability or not.
