have been recording weight and exercise in diary since January 2012. Have just weighed myself and found I have put ON weight inspite of concerted effort, alteration in ALL my clothes etc. I dont understand and right now think I am just going to give up.

sorry but if you do not share your diary it is difficult for people to give you advice. If you have put on fat you must have eaten more calories than you consumed and it is relatively easy to underestimate the calories intake if you are not accurate in your logbook.

what do you mean by "alteration in All my clothes"? Does that mean the clothing is fitting looser?

If your clothes are looser, the number on the scale is just a number...

muscle weighs more than fat and is denser so you're clothes will feel loser, but you may not see much on the scale. Also there may be a hidden food that is adding calories you aren't realizing (salad dressing is a HUGE one) and if you have a food allergy or taking certain medications that will also keep the lbs from falling off by bloating you. Hope it starts moving soon! good luck!!
We all say we'd do anything to lose weight, but what we mean is we'd do anything but eat better and exercise to lose weight. We are all looking for fix to a long term problem

Avocado mixed with salt, pepper, chives, a little white vinegar just to make smooth. Mix it up and spread it on bread w/ a tomato and spinach leaves! THE BEST!!!
