Just did day 1 of 30 day shred. Owww! My knees are like jelly. But I plan on making through all 30 days. I have not been doing any exercise except some walking, so this kicked my butt.
How long before you moved up to level 2, and then level 3?
How are you tracking this in exercise?
I have taken measurements today, so I am excited to see where I'll be at day 30!
I imagine tomorrow will be tough, but I'm hoping it gets better after a few days!
A year from now you will look back and wish you had started today.

I did 10 days at each level, then moved on to Ripped in 30 - which is one week x4 levels.
I don't track my exercise here - I have a bodymedia fit. I weigh in the 130s and only burn 110-120 calories w/ Jillian Michaels. Not sure why it is that low. I have started rotating it with zumba in the mornings and then doing a regular 30-60 minutes of cardio or weight training in the evening. I'm trying to get rid of my last 20 lbs. so I have increased everything. I did take measurements and definitely feel like I have more defined muscle tone - especially my abs and core!

She;s working for me. Since I began (a week ago) i lost one inch off of my hips and a 1/2 inch off of my waist. I say go for it--once you reach like day 5 you will know the routine. Once i begin level 2 im going to start back running around my neighborhood to further assist!

That is a pretty tough work out but stay with it and you will see pretty quick results! I did Jillian's routines a couple of years ago BUT I did not do them 30 days in a row. I did them every other day or so. Work past the soreness and you'll be fine. Also - stay at Level 1 until you reach a state where Level 1 does not feel very challenging any more. Levels 2 & 3 have some moves that scared me as far as INJURY is concerned. I worried that I would twist something!

I started working out with her about a month ago, I'm developing quite a healthy hatred for Jillian, but she knows what she's talking about! I log her workouts as Circuit Training for 20 mins. It took me about 15 days to get to level two, (I hurt my ankles and had to take some time away from it). Just started level three yesterday, I couldn't make it through the whole video, so I just mixed some moves from level 2 in with it.

I have been doing The Shred 3 days a week for 2 weeks. Still at level 1, but today I got through the whole thing no problem. I will most likely stay on level 1 next week too, then move on to level 2. I have never really done workout video's before, but I'm really liking it!
I started it on June 4th and have lost 4 pounds in two weeks!

I think i'm going to pick up this video. I work all day and have a son i want to go home and spend time with. Going to the gym is so hard. I live in a very hilly area so if it's not raining i walk with him. But It would be great to have this video to do when he goes to bed!

Best time for doing exercise, morning or night?
I prefer to exercise in the morning too. Partly because by the time evening rolls around, I'm worn out (two toddlers will do that to you) and partly because I just know me. If I get up at 5:30am, ...
