Hi Everyone,

I joined about a week ago.
Still trying to get the hang of the site and iphone app.

I am almost 25 and I have forever struggled with my weight.

When I get into being healthy I am quite good with exercise and healthy eating, but then my motivation and willpower disappears and I binge eat and it all goes downhill from there. Back at square one.. Depressed and unhealthy.

I am hoping that this site will give me some guidance to stay fit and healthy so I can lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle and reach my long term goals.

So far, I am finding everyone’s posts really encouraging and positive so I feel this will be a great experience.

Very Happy

The hardest thing is to get your mind into the right place and when you slip up and binge eat don't use it as an excuse to give up. One day of eating crap will not destroy weeks of doing things right. I read in a post here where someone compared the urge to binge eat to a small child throwing a tantrum in a mall. The more you give in the greater the tantrums. Find a diet that you can live with long term...this is not a temporary lifestyle. Find coping techniques for the urge to binge. If you search the forums you will find many people who struggle with the same thing and how they deal with it. You don't want to end up my age at my weight. Wishing you all the best.
