Hi there,

Almost 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Diabetes-2. Started on pills (Metformine 2 x 500 mg per day) and picked up the carbcounter on my iPad. And what a delight and surprise to find almost any Dutch ingredient or food in the database. This makes it so much easier to keep a diary. I'm very impressed and grateful for this tool and it helps me a lot in checking my intake. As you can imagine I need to stay low on my carbs and keep check of my fibers. The app does the trick and I can mail the progress per week to my diet counselor.

I lost 8 kg's in less then 4 weeks and my glucose values dropped from a dangerous 26 to a normal 7. Much appreciated!
