no work out when you want to work out. if you get up at 6 to work out but dont really want to then your are going to find the effort you put in is lower meaning your probably going to burn less calories and not enjoy yourself ether.

You can work out whenever you want, the time of day does not matter at all.

only thing I would recommend is try to make sure it doesn't upset your sleep rythm. heavy exercise just before going to sleep can cause you to be awake for longer. (although being tired will help you sleep I would assume).

If you get problems with insomnia/sleeplessness then try to avoid exercise the 2 hours before you go to sleep.

One thing I enjoyed after late night working out is weighing myself before I go to bed and again in the morning. It was amazing to see like a 2-4 lb drop during the night depending on intensity of workout.

My only beef about nighttime workouts is I have difficulties sleeping for a few hours afterwards. It's still worth it to me, as that's the only time I can work it into my schedule.

Do warm-ups and cool-downs count?
Honestly, I think it depends on what workout you're going with. I do cardio from a dvd with Denise Austin, and yes, I count the warm up and cool down... just because they feel like (together) they ...

Legs and Thighs
Have you found the exercise Brazil butt lift? I would like to gain tone but not build heavy, thick looking legs. Is this possible? Also need suggestions for upper body with the same philosophy.
