I got a mini-trampoline for Christmas. I had a big trampoline when I was a kid, and I have to say, I am really enjoying the mini-trampoline. I'm only able to use it for about 10 minutes at a time, but I expect I can get up to 20 minutes at a time and do it twice a day in the next week or two.
It came with elastic bands. Those are almost as fun as the trampoline.
Anyone else using one? Do you have any good, fun exercises you are doing?
And, have you read about how it's supposed to be the best thing ever? Like, NASA scientists endorse it or something amazing like that. It's supposed to stimulate your lymphatic system and help get rid of the garbage. I can't decide if this is believable, though. It's supposed to be low impact where the worst thing that can happen is organ prolapse, which seems really awful, so I am trying to avoid that. I can't jump so high my organs prolapse at this point anyway.
DISCLAIMER: I expect to lose this weight over the next 6 months to 5 years. I'm not going to feel like a failure if it takes an entire month to lose 1 pound. I'm going to feel like a success when that happens! I may offer advice that I'm currently not taking myself. Feel free to call me on that!

Hey!
I was thinking of getting a mini-trampoline too, because I want to excercise inside in winter.
So what was your experience with it, fitnesswise? Is it still fun?
And on the practical side, is it easy to put away when not excercising? And does the trampoline jump along, and make sounds that the neighbours might hear?
People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.

Do you like cottage cheese or does it make you cringe?
It depends. I can't stand eating it with fruit or anything sweet, like most people do.

COCONUT WATER
I love coconut water & prefer Harmless Harvest raw coconut water. It's more expensive, but worth it, I think. I get it at Whole Foods or a local health food store.
