Hi there! I just found this site/app on my phone last night and I wanted to give it a try. I'm 22 and about to start grad school in music. I had been on livestrong.com for over a year, but most of my friends stopped posting and I started getting frustrated at the ammount of time it took for the pages to load on my computer. I'm hoping that with the phone app I'll be able to really keep a watch on what I'm eating. I hope you all are having a great day and if anyone has any tips about keeping weight off, please feel free to comment!

Welcome! The app is a godsend and it helps with accountability on what we really eat. One tip is to keep moving. As a society we are incredibly sedentary and need to work our bodies to keep them fit and healthy. Biggest tip of all? Get your head right. If you aren't seriously "on board" it will be a struggle. Best of luck to you!!

good luck to you: My formula is if your accurate in listing all that you eat (this in it self will point out bad choices). Then only weigh yourself once per week, analyze the weeks diet for fat grams/ then calories when you lose more than 1% of body weight use those avg's as your targets. Mine is stay under 65g fat per day and 1700 calories. Thirdly try to maintain daily amounts consistant eg if 1700 cal +- 150 daily dont ever starve yourself if you had a bad day you cant make up for it just get back to your targets.

Hello
Hello finding what works and is sustainable for you is key. Also burning more calories then what we consume is part of the equation too. This journey is a marathon and not a sprint. Good luck
