Hi all!

I'm just saying hi. I joined the site in january thinking was going to make a lifestyle change that...hasn't happened yet. Instead of working out as planned, my hubby and I have been obsessing about trying to have a baby. It hasn't happened yet, and I realize, the best thing is for me to stay positive and take better care of my body. I am not overweight, but over the last 9 years weight and jiggles have crept on. I want to improve my health, and maybe even get down to my ideal weight. And who knows, maybe God will bless me with the baby bump I sooooo desire! (If that happens, at least I'll have the habit of exercising, journalling and eating well under my belt when the real weight loss challenge begins! Please feel free to comment on my posts, ask questions, or interact with me in any way!
If i make it to 140 by July 30, my hubby's taking me to Europe! Hoping to do this in a healthy, sustainable way...and have fun doing it!

Just remember that a lifestyle change is the product of lots of small changes. Since losing a ton of weight isn't really your focus, look to small steps that you can take to move you in the right direct- try out some new veggies and challenge yourself to eat less processed foods. Maybe do some strength training to help tone up the jiggles. Those small changes will all add up and you'll be that much healthier when your wish is granted Smile

You didn't really ask for advice on this, so I hope you don't mind… My husband and I tried to get pregnant for over 6 months, and we finally got pregnant once we gave up and stopped trying. We actually got a dog and said, it'll happen when it's supposed to... I was pregnant the next month! haha And I’m pretty sure we were both totally drunk the night we got pregnant. Just remember, alcohol is one of the leading causes of pregnancy! LOL But seriously, I think the more relaxed you are, the easier you can get pregnant. Just enjoy each other, and it’ll happen. And I do think it’s a great idea that you’re getting yourself healthy and into good habits before the pregnancy. Good for you! Hang in there; it will happen. And by the way, Welcome! Smile
