Last summer, had a 2 week vacation, went up 10...worked my way back down, then February holiday, back up, and convention in March and up a bit more. Now my total loss is 38. I'm working out regularly...back on plan...visit my 'weight-loss' doctor regularly and it is just not coming off! Even my doctor is flabbergasted! Do not want to lose the battle and have about another 35 lbs. to go. I'm in my early 50's! Anyone want to take the challenge of being my buddy? =)

Hey, you described me in your post. I am new to the site and want to lose 40 to 50 pounds as well. I belong to a gym but my attendance is sporadic. My sister was supposed to go with me to water aerobics but she has a new job. That is no excuse for me but I use it anyway!!!! I have two challenges-one, not to eat after 7:00pm. Have been good off and on. My other challenge is no soda. That is really hard but I am drinking lots of water. I hope that helps with munching at night. Stress and emotions are part of it as well. I live with my 93 year old Mom and she has Alzheimers. She is a real cutie and I just have to be patient. Hope I have not gone on and on but I understand your issues!!!

I am new too, just today, have a long road ahead, all I can say is make little changes in your lifestyle, and find an exercise program that suits your body. I started with George Foreman Circuit Walk over last winter, Had physical in February, I also have to stay on the ball with my health, because I take meds that are known as weight gainers, had to prove I could take care of myself to stay on meds that keep me well. Did whole lab work and all my numbers are down. I will always be fighting with my weight, but I've gotten farther this time than I
even thought possible. It's not an overnight fix, but you'll get there once you realize what works for you.

Hi, I've been using my phone app, but am new to the online portion. I'm using my old favorite Atkins, and although it's working, seems to have slowed down with my increased age. I would like buddies as well, especially since I'm a total emotional/boredom eater, but have no idea how to send a buddy request. Thanks for being here. I already feel supported.
