OK, so I'll admit it's pretty wonderful to be shopping in the regular sizes for the first time in 10 years. But even better was visiting the doctor today and experiencing such a congratulatory greeting from him that I'm actually looking forward to my next visit -- because I know I'll have made even more progress by then.
So what other triumphs can we look forward to? What's your proudest moment since you started your weight loss journey?

Being able to run on the treadmill for one minute without stopping
Also being able to wedge my butt into the seats at the theme park, after the humiliation of not being able to get in there the year before!
Cheers,
Karen

Having to buy a Medium in biking shorts, because the Large pair I bought a few weeks ago was too big already. I still have plenty of fat to lose, but that was the first time I've bought a smaller size of anything in years.

fitting into a single digit size was big for me. But the other day I bought shorts for the first time since literally childhood
I wouldn't have been caught dead in something that short forty pounds ago. Still not 100% confident but my husband saw me in the dressing room as insisted I had to get them, that felt good too!

All of you all are inspiration. Hopefully one day I will have one of these....but right now my proudest moment is being able to say "enough" when I eat!

My proudest moment is probably the second time I hit the -50 pound mark. I lost it once, gained it back, lost it again, and this time I've kept it off. My second proudest moment is still losing weight even though I've been studying abroad for a year in two different countries.

@Sheripickle, You are amazing! That's motivation if I ever heard it!
So far my proudest moment was being called "svelte" this morning by one of my colleagues. I guess someone more sensitive might have been offended, but it made me feel like a million bucks!!

My improved willpower, as evidenced by the fact that it took me 6 weeks to go through 1 bag of Cadbury mini eggs- that thing would have been gone in 3 days before I started holding myself accountable for the calories!

I went shopping for a whole new wardrobe with an old friend from highschool. I was trying on one of those button up shirts with the sleeves already rolled up and when it wouldn't fit, she said "it won't fit cause your biceps are too large!". Awesome. Had a smile on my face for the rest of the time we were in the store.

Proudest moment so far, dropping my cholesterol from 244 down to 182 over a long five year period without any meds.

These are all such great answers. WiiFitFatty -- I identify with the theme park seats thing. I'm flying for the first time since I lost weight next week, and I am SO looking forward to fitting into the airplane seats without feeling as though the jaws of life will be required to get me out.

I would say mine came today. Today someone gave me a new pair of pants in a smaller size than I've worn in many years. I put them on and they were too big!! Even I was surprised.
