hi all, I am new to fat secret and hoping to make progress losing 25lbs by using this website to help. I also have a gym membership which I really need to go back to asap. I am a big carb eater and find it very hard to stay away from but hoping looking at the food nutrition on this site will help me pick better choices as I have always had trouble trying to find the right things to eat and keep full. I am looking forward to meeting some buddies and any offer of help would be appreciated Smile.

Hey Welcome! I love Carbs! Its one of my downfalls, and trying to keep them in moderation can sometimes be difficult.....Well glad your here, and good luck. If you would like I can be one of your buddies also!

I love me so carbs to but they sure put some weight on ya. I take these pills called Carb blockers because unless you burn over 1400 calories a day those suckers wont go anywhere but your thigs if you know what i mean. In my Challenge group i have 2 diets support pills not you average pills. these pills are intended to help you with your weigh lose regimen. joing my group and well discuss more as you can see i have not gaing any weight since i've been a member . hope to have you in my challenge droup: Slimmer and Healthier you

I too love carbs. Instead of giving them up, I tried to eat healthy carbs. Whole wheat bread, brown rice, beans and fruit/vegetables are all healthy carbs and should be a part of your everyday diet.

thank you all for your replies. I am nervous about taking diet pills as a friend of mine died while on them. I know that fruit has carbs but I am not as big a fruit eater as I was as a kid. I have recently started eating clementines and grapefruit. I used to eat green apples and dip into peanut butter which I think I will start again as it made a nice treat. I know the foods like grains, beans and fruit but I have a hard time putting them into a meal or what to eat with them in order to keep myself full. This morning I had 2 eggs 2 pieces of white toast as I had no brown, and a cup of coffee. I need to eat more fibre as to get my good cholestrol (i think thats hdl)up as the doctor says its too low. I need to exercise as well, but know fruit in the morning alone will not keep me energized for my workout.
