So I've lost 14 pounds and I'm really excited about it. Today we went to the mall because I was looking for jeans that I could tuck into my boots and I decided to risk it and try on size 12 jeans... And THEY FIT!!! I was so excited! I bought 2 pairs of size 12 jeans and a MEDIUM shirt! They look great!

I packed my size 16's and put them in storage a month ago and I'm thinking I'm almost emotionally ready to pack away the 14's... But that means I have to dig for my size 12's and 10's! I'm so excited and motivated by the new clothes!! I also only have 4 lbs to go to no longer be "obese" and to be in the "overweight" category, then I will be taking another set of pictures so I can see the changes.

Congrats! I found a pair of 16 jeans in my closet and decided to try them on really thinking they would not fit yet. I was more than shocked to find that not only did they fit they are actually a little big. So I know how you feel and it's an awesome feeling. Keep up the great work!

It is a wonderful feeling, isn't it!

I was in tight size 36 pants in April 2009. Went on Atkins (seriously) for the rest of 2009, and got down to size 32 jeans. Stayed on Atkins (not so seriously) for all of 2010, dropping down to comfy size 31 jeans.

I've got 15 more pounds to lose, so, it's back on Atkins induction phase for a while.

Plus, I want to see my HDL go up more. It's always been < 40 until I started Atkins. Last year, it was 46. I hope to see it even higher than that when I get it checked again in April.

YAY for you!!! Wow I can't wait until I can do that. I wear 16's now and can't wait to be a true 14. I was always a size 10 even after 2 of my children I got back to size 10 but with my 3rd son I just never really tried that hard. I just avoid pictures and glancing at myself in the mirror because I hate what I see. I'm going to get there though...just chugging along.
