It keeps me busy at work. I am on all day during the week and at least once a day over the weekend.

thanks everyone for the quick reply. I like to chat or message people every day it keeps me going. Home alone with two kids 24/7 I can lose my focus of what I need to do for myself in order to take care of them as well.

Shellysue, I read your bio and you sound a lot like me. I'm also tall and "bigger" than friends. Always will be, no matter how fit I am! I'll never be a petite little person. It's always nice to have more buddies who look at weight on the same sort of scale

It's hard though since fatsecret doesn't let you know when there are comments on things you've posted. I wish it were more like FB so it would be easier to keep track.

Im here every day. I agree with fatangryblog, i wish there were notifications for comments, but I do try to keep up with all my buddies journals and such.
You say you want a cheeseburger but all I hear is "I need love" - a comic strip on the fridge at work.
You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure.

I'm on a few times a day. lol. I just leave FS up on my computer and take a look everytime I have a few moments to. ^.^ It would be nice to have comment notifications on here. I'm always looking for a few more friends if anyone is interested.

Me too... everyday, the weekends are tough though. I am finding that the more I record my foods, exercise, etc, the better I do a this diet thing! I am a stay at home mom as well and here often (sometimes more often than I'd like to admit!)

Quick newbie FS tips:
On Myfatsecret click "me" and you will see all the comments on your journals and forum threads you started. Click on "my buddies" and you will see all your buddies' recent activities. You can further filter to see all your buddies journals only.
There's no way to get notifications if someone else replied to a forum post you didn't start, but the forum isn't too busy anyway. Typically the first page will contain all the activity for the day. Groups are pretty dead around here, again because there's no notifications. But if you go to My Groups, they will be in the order of the one that had the most recent activity first.
I wish there were notifications too

I have a hard time getting on to even update my food as my boys always get really loud and needy when I get on the computer, lol! I am oging to try and set aside some "fatsecret" time for myself in the evenings so hopefully I can get in on some more discussions
I sent you a buddy request

I'm always on FS at work, and I have the app on my crackberry.
Of course I need more motivation though!
I'd love to have some more buddies to help me through this...
feel free to add me

I'm on every day right now, as I try and get my act together and because I'm working from home this year. I've added you as a buddy - I'm a mom too and lots of my extra weight came from the pregnancy, followed by bad habits once I returned to work. (and yes, 40lbs ago I thought I was 20lbs too heavy)
