Okay there may be nothing I can do about this - other than surgery but I thought I would see if anyone had any tips. So when I was heavier my tummy was bigger and hard. Now that I have lost almost 80 pounds it's soggy, soft, & squishy!! It's a little saggy too and I think when I lose all of this extra weight I am going to have some loose skin on my stomach. I think I will be good everywhere else but my stomach won't be a pretty site. Any ideas to help this? Miracle shrinking cream, sit ups? Anything!

Definitely begin using cream and maybe even Nivea's Cellulite Firming Lotion and their skin firming cream. Since you are losing slowly, you can give your skin some help along the way with good creams (brand is better than Wally World's generic).

I also recommend sit ups and kettle bells. I hear Zumba is great, but I prefer to never recommend videos you have to buy. A kettle bell from Dick's Sporting Goods will come with a video for toning and getting in all around good shape.

Oh, another place you may find your skin sagging is your upper arms. Work those with weights and use the skin firming lotion on your inner upper arms too.
Don't let the ticker fool you ~ I started this journey at 250 pounds a year ago. This is a lifestyle change for sure ~ I've never been on a diet that lasted this long and worked this well.

Don't ever apologize when you know you're right. The truth hurts, some people just need to get over it.

So I don't have to keep repeating myself ~ I'll just put it here.....The team is the STEELERS, not Steeler's. I am a STEELERS fan, not a Steeler's fan.

Just a word to the wise! try a small section of skin before you go all gung ho on your whole body because I had a very bad reaction to a major brand of firming cream and it burned for days! I usually don't react to creams or lotions but they put extra things in to do the job!

Good advice. I don't have any kind of reaction to things normally so I never would have thought of that. I've been using the Nivea with no issues such as that. Anything new that you introduce to your body should always be introduced with caution.

Amanda, try some exercises and kettle bell like Steelers said. Your skin is young and has much more elasticity than my old skin, so you will have better results over time. You've had 3 kiddos, so itwill never be like before you had them, but you can definately improve it! I have no knowledge about the creams, so can't help you there. You might want to check out dry brushing on youtube. There are some who say that helps the skin to renew itself and regain some of it's shape! Good luck! Very Happy

I do have sensitive skin. I can't use the bath and body works lotion on my hands because it burns like fire. I have psoriasis on my hands though and not anywhere else so maybe it won't burn my stomach. Now what is a kettle bell? Does Wal-Mart have it because that is the only store we have lol! It's not one of those balls you balance on and do sit ups is it? I am going to get one of those.

This is a kettlebell and they do have them at Walmart:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Gold-s-Gym-15LB-Kettle-Bell/12177344?findingMethod=rr

It's a cast iron weight with a cast iron handle. They come in varying weight levels. Start with 10 pounds and go up from there if you've never weight lifted. They should come with a dvd that will tone you all around and not just your arms. I love mine.

Here's a link to the entire selection: http://www.walmart.com/cp/Kettle-Bells/1078286

Just remember "Site to Store" is an option if they don't have them in store (and, no, I don't work for Walmart ~ just love it).

I love Walmart ~ one stop shopping, 90 day returns on most items no matter what the condition of the item if you have a receipt, gift cards for returns if you don't have a receipt, 25% lower prices than Harris Teeter or Food Lion, and people who dress so badly someone created a website devoted to them. What's not to love?

Laughing @ Steelers and Wal Mart. I shop there, too, when I have to, but I get tired of fighting those same people that the website is devoted to, when they are visiting with their extended families in the middle of the aisles, and refuse to budge, while they eat their chicken strips and drink their sodas! Laughing And yes all the positives you list are awesome.

See what's great about Walmart is the weekend when NASCAR meets the Ren Faire. Picture it ~ it's Saturday morning. The NASCAR rednecks are in Walmart at 9 am buying their 2 cases of beer to get them through until the end of the race that runs until 10pm or later and they are dressed in the Jimmie Johnson jerseys and Tony Stewart t-shirts totally unaware that less than 2 miles away, the Ren Faire is going on. In walk the Rennies dressed in full garb right down to their bodices and leather floggers who need their breakfast and various other items they've forgotten on their 2 hour drive down to the Faire. The looks on the faces of those NASCAR fans is priceless. They look totally confused and have no clue what's going on because they think they are dressed normally, as do the Rennies who wait 45 weeks for this particular weekend. It's classic. I had a blast just sitting back watching last year. But where, other than Walmart, can you see such things? How can you not love such a store?

And they sell kettlebells and cellulite cream.

Steelers, see we don't have people that interesting at our WalMart. We live in farm country and here we get farmers with manure on their boots, women with 10 screaming kids, noses running, and hair unkempt, people so large that they can't reach the candy/chips/soda that they want without asking someone else to get it for them, because they don't want to stand up from their motorized scooter/grocery carts, the teenage boys in their blue jeans and cammo hats, with the little white circle on the rear pocket, that is the badge of honor for the young fellas, proving that, yes, they do chew tobaccy, carrying their spit cups, or simply swallowing it. Sadly nothing nearly as exciting as the Rennies!! But we do have our fair share of NASCAR fans!! Very Happy

Mine is soggy, soft, squishy and saggy too. I have quite a bit of fat to go and I am hoping even though I am old (40) that it will ping back at least a bit LOL

lol! Too funny. Stef your wal-mart is about like mine. We live in a poor country town. All I can say is don't go to Wal-Mart on the 1st. I swear it's a mad house. Some families have 2 or 3 buggies piled high. I guess Wal-Mart has it's pros... All the juicy gossip is exchanged at Wal-Mart. I don't think I have even been in there without not seeing someone I know. Oh and I get a good workout just going to the store because where else can you go where you have to walk all the way to from groceries to the other side of the store to buy nuts and popcorn? Oh and if I need charcoal to grill my steaks I have to go all the way out into the garden section with the flowers. Oh and I do love the People of Wal-Mart photo's. They are hillarious!

Squiggly, are you calling me old? I'm 40 and don't feel a day over 39. lol. But I have to agree with the soft, squishy, and saggy skin. My belly now looks like the skin of an overrippened to bad tomatoe. But hey, at least it beats looking like a plump basketball...

Some nights I sit on the couch prodding my lumpy bits now - it is quite amusing LOL.

Now that's just strange. But you are right, it is amusing.

my belly button appears to be frowning!!! as you guys mentioned, being saggy is better than being firm in this sense. I think of it as "in transition"--maybe I'll try some of that nivea cream, but having had a c-section 18 years ago, Im not sure it will even DO anything besides make my pooch soft and silky LMAO!!!
I had to laugh when the doctor told me about the operation (it was done as an emergency and I dont think I was too lucid until AFTERWARDS), he said, "hey now you'll be back in that bikini in NO TIME!"
I felt like slapping him upside the head--dude, I have NEVER BEEN IN A BIKINI!
Not to go off topic, but the scar is very low and like from hipbone to hipbone. I dont know what the goal of this is exactly, because all it seemed to do was pleat and ruffle my flesh. Maybe its high fashion, or bad upholstery!
OK Im delerious!
