I'm reaching a point where I'm getting a little sick of my music when I'm running or doing something else at the gym.
Anyone want to offer up some suggestions that get your heart rate going and help you stay energized? I need to make some playlists that are just for the gym, I think.
So, tell me, what gets you moving?

What kind of music do you like? My playlists run all over the place depending on mood weather motivation level needed lol. So what are you into? I listen to everything but country! So let me know a starting point and I'll share!

I like everything (even some country!...though I find it doesn't do much for me at the gym).
I've got some good techo stuff that I've downloaded from an awesome DJ that makes stuff at certain bpm's to help you interval train, but it gets a little repetitive day after day. Classic rock seems good too, but there is probably so much more creative that I could get.

I listen to Pandora on my iphone so I never know what's going to come on. But it it's on the "80's throwback" "disco" or "gangsta rap" channel, I know I'm going to like it

Well my playlist from this morning was this:
LL cool j- mama said knock you out
Kevin rudolf - let it rock
outkast- bob
cake- short skirt/long jacket
teddybears- cobrastyle
eminen- lose yourself
Daniel beddingfield- gotta get through this
Elvis- little less conversation
ice cube - you can do it
gnarles Barkley - gone daddy gone
When I get home I'll look at my iTunes and check out my past playlists. This one is mostly much more high energy uptempo stuff.

Well I think there are two songs that are like my two main work out songs... when I'm struggling through my last mile it is these two songs I turn to to push me to the end... one is "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada the other is "I Made It" by Kevin Rudolf... both are equally motivational for me
I hope you find some good songs to help motivate you... music is the key to a great work out for me... I'd suck with out it, hehe >.<
P.S. With that in mind I'd like to leave a special thanks on this post to my best friend Justin for buying me my mp3 player for Chistmas I'd be so lost with out it, hehe.

You totally should lol... it's such a motivational song... it's like "I made it, I made it" you're like "heck yeah I made it, made it all the way to the end of my work out" hehe

When I am at the gym, I avoid cardio and stick to weight training so most of my music choices are kind of hard but here goes.
Disturbed, Fiver Finger Death Punch, Slipknot, Three Days Grace, Rise Against etc
Kanye West, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent... basically anything that could make me sing along or dance... when jack johnson pops up (though I like him) I gotta hit that NEXT button or I will slowwwww dowwwwwn

I just listened to all of "Fern"... amazing. I couldn't get through Bring Me the Horizon though. I have an instant shut-off whenever I see skinny kids in even skinnier jeans.
Also, because you like classical & metal, check out Apocalyptica if you haven't already.

My girlfriend surprised me with a 5FDP concert a few months ago. I'm a VERY lucky man.
