Adding ankle weights to walk

Reconsider your decision to use ankle weights, I read that they are not recommended. They cause injury.

Thanks for the thought. I am used to the ankle weights, though, as I used to mountain hike with them on. I just wanted to know which exercise option from the list I should add for the calorie calculations.

Weights belts around the waist may cause injury and even weakness in the abdominals. They can throw the spine out in the sacral area, too.

To Shortcinnamon- I checked the box on account setting to allow members to see weight, journal, etc. What am I missing? ty

kp - I don't think you are missing anything, I know when I changed my privacy settings to be that everyone could see everything it took a while to switch over. I'd just go into account settings one more time and double check that the drop down box is set to everyone. Someone else might know more...

Hey there! I use ankle weights, or used to when it was long pants weather... I didn't really record it as extra, for the same reason, I didn't know how. I need to get back into the habit of using them, but I feel silly wearing them with shorts on.
