I'm trying so hard to lose weight! I watch everything I eat, count every point and avoid the "bad" foods that I love so much. Now I have hit the ever frustration plateau! I cant make the scale budge! How do I get the scale on board with me???

In the past I have found that if I up my movement/exercise it can help. My old WW leader once mentioned marching in place while brushing your teeth or talking on the phone to grab a few more calorie burning moments.. any movement helps burn. I also found that eating more helps.... don't laugh...... it needs to be more raw or cooked veggies for me. Can you add more salads or veggies to your day? I am not sure if it works for everyone but the extra fiber seems to up my motabolism a bit. Hope it helps.

You are doing so well!! Congrats!
I just have a couple of ideas that may help. Are you drinking all of your water? If you increase your water intake to 100 oz a day it will help flush out extra fat. I know it can be hard to do, but it really helps! You can google 'effects of water on diet' and see what comes up.
Next one is switching up your exercise routine. Either try something different totally or add new things into your current routine. You can increase the speed of your exercise (cardio wise) or do short bursts of extra speed.
Take a look at your carb intake and try to reduce it and change it out with more protein. Snack on high fiber veggies and add in some nuts to feel satisfied so you don't do what I do, start binging. BLACH! I hate that.
I hope that helps you a little. You are doing a great job!!

You are doing fabulous! You are on that last ten pounds...my understanding is those are the hardest to tackle. Don't know...have a ways to go.
Anyway, hang in there! You can make it. Take your measurements, maybe you have some inches falling off that is not reflective when you jump on the scale. I've found if I mix up my food (I have a tendency to eat the same stuff), drink the water as Opera mentioned and follow the great advice from dwagner of eating a bit more (of the right stuff), it does help. Also, keeping a weight loss magazine and/or book around tends to keep me motivated. Wish you the best!!

I had a real problem with motivation. I lose it really easily (if only I could lose weight as easily!) A friend suggested something really simple that works great. Make a list of all of your reasons for losing weight, no matter how small and make several copies of it. Put one by the bathroom mirror, one on the pantry door and one in your purse to help remind yourself why you are doing this. (I also put one on the visor in my car in case the drive-through monster started calling to me). This really helps with my motivation. KEEP IT UP!

Atkins misconceptions
PLEASE NOTE: I realise that this was submitted to an Atkins board, and I do not intend my comments to offend people. I am writing this to explain why the "gaspers" may feel the way they do. ...

Net Carbs
bball...definetly go to the boards on Atkins. Do a search for MIM. That is muffin in a minute. You probably need much more fiber than you are getting, and the MIM will help you. If you make it a p ...

So frustrated!
8 pounds in a month is pretty great. That is 2 pounds per week. That is the far-end of the range of what you can leave and keep it off.

recording activities and food intake
You should be able to add most of your foods by grams. If the only option is a teaspoon, there are 28 grams (dry) in a teaspoon.
