I can't believe it. I'm off ww for 3 weeks and I gain my weight back. I lose weight and feel I can get off WW and my weight goes back on. It so hard!!! Any ideas?

Are you lifetime? Maybe continue to weigh in once a month. Then if you see an increase, you'll know you need to focus more on it. I have been on and off of WW for over a year and I'm still having trouble accepting that this is forever. I can't go back to eating the way I was before. Also, maybe focus on the 8hg all the time, not just when you're on the plan.

I'm not at that stage yet. But I think that when I reach my goal. I'm going to continue the WW way of eating. I'm assuming the program just allows us to have more points to maintain the weight. You have to look at it as a lifetime commitment to be healthy and fit. Not just to loose weight and then continue on bad habits. Its a misconception of what you assume diets to do.

I would suggest figuring out how many calories you burn per day on average and then make a meal plan (and stick to it!) that consists of only that many calories. That would allow you to maintain your body weight now that you're off weight watchers.

You can't change back to your old eating and exercise habits. Your body reflects your lifestyle. If you want to keep the weight off, your lifestyle has to change for good, not just while your on the diet.

Thats one of the reasons yo-yo diets don't work. To maintain, you don't need a diet, you need a lifestyle change.

I'm not a lifetime but I know WW works. Thank you for all the encouragement. I know in my head that it's a lifetime change but my actions show otherwise. You guys are awesome! I just had a bowl of berries and a nectarine for breakfast. Smile

Yeah but it feels so good to look at the scale and see that kind of loss. I have kept it off so it could not have been water weight.
