Hi everyone...this is my first time at anything like this! I came across this site while looking at the Virtual Weight Loss site, the one where u send in a photo then they virtually air brush you skinny!
Any way I thought this site was way more realistic and I could use some positive encouragement and ideas! The 50lb by the 4th of July challenge starts tomorrow and it really sounds crazy that I might be able to lose 50 lbs BUT I really want to be challenged and inspired to get up and really move.

I started low carb at 246 lbs in April 2007. I have lost a bulk of my weight now these last few pounds seem to be the hardest to lose!!

Hi welcome to FS! Yeah In order to lose 50lbs by July 4th, you'd need to lose more than 6lbs per week.
It's an impossible challenge but it's still great motivation; I'm in it as well so maybe we can help motivate eachother
