Can anyone recommend their favorite veggie burger? Too many out there to try each one. Any thoughts?

I like the taste of Morningstar instead of Boca. Morningstar has different flavors like Italian and Mexican. My favorite is the one with black beans in it. I fry it up and crumble it on a salad with salsa and low fat sour cream. Yummy!

Looks like Morning Star will be the one to try. I have never seen quorn, but will look. icefigures, I do not have a Red Robin near me. What type of restaraunt is it? None is upstate NY.

We eat LOTS of veggie burgers and have tried nearly every type. OUr family favorite is the Boca burgers flammers" they are soy and taste like a real burger. Just fry them in a little water. great with any topping. others we've had are morning star farms grillers, the black bean style from both companies are good, I like the tomato basil also. good stuff- lots of protein and taste like the real thing. I'm not much for the "veggie" style with all the rice/vegetable chunks in them.
too bad about he red robin! It's a restaurant much like Applebees/ruby tuesday style burger and grill joint. great burgers though. they have a king size gormet burger list and they have boca burgers as an option. I've never seen them at any other restaurant before. There's a lot of them in PA.

When you're on the road--did you know Burger King has a veggie burger? I ordered one there and the cashier looked at me like I was high or something, but it was actually pretty good.

I agree with most everyone else for home--the MorningStar burgers are excellent.

I am a fan of Boca Flame Grilled Burgers. To me, they taste the closest to a real burger. I keep a box in the freezer in the work breakroom. Then when I am in need of a late afternoon snack I occasionally nuke one patty and then I eat with a litte side of ketchup. If I want to eat it burger-style I use a light english muffin instead of a roll.

Quorn is big in the UK, but harder to find in the States (but it's worth it if you can find it). I go with Morningstar instead of Boca because Boca is tied to Phillip Morris. I like the fake chicken patties better than the fake beef patties, but it could be just me. As far as taste, I would go with the spicy black bean burgers or the buffalo veggie wings.

The veggie patty sub at Subway is amazing.
It sounds weird, but it kinda tastes like an eggroll or something.
