People, people, there are books and links and even this site tells of the permitted foods. I don't know how you do it, start a diet and not even know what the diet is. LOL
Here is a good starting place, other than this site and the information pages here about SB.

Reduced Fat or Light Sour cream is permitted in phase 1, there are even recipes for phase 1 that call for it. Amount wise, I don't recall, I just know that I had recipes that called for it. I never ate it other than that to try to cut back on my old habits. Im a reformed sour cream and cream cheese addict.

I know what the South Beach Diet is ImLuuvd, and read the book before I started the diet. I was simply unsure about the Sour Cream and Milk since I have a book that was published before the update.

Its hard to remember all the food items and which phases especially once we've finished them, plus they keep changing and updating the plan. its always best when youre starting a new diet to read up and be prepared and get the items you need to help set you up for success. I just being a sour cream junkie and I havent cheated and yet I had some in phase 1, thats all I remember. lol

I was going off an outdated book too, but I figured Id rather stick to what was known and true then give into some new changes, unless it was a food I was dying for.Bad Grin
