I'm new here and I've decided to try the south beach diet. Hope I made the right choice. I'm starting tomorrow because I know I need to run to the store for a few things (not even sure what yet) for the phase I part. Really not sure what I'm doing yet! we'll see how it goes.....my other choice was the GI diet...not sure why I chose south beach but I know I have to do something. I need to lose this weight now!!! I am determined but I also know I can't do it alone! I will need help and advice. I have been trying the slimfast plan but I think I need something I can stay on for life not a quick fix....although it sounds good!....lol

I had used slimfast too for a long time and like you decided to go onto something a little more permanent so it was more of a lifestyle change. I'd like to try the GI diet one day too.

You should try the GI diet, it's great...I am a bit biased though. Smile
