Question: I have all of the supplies for the point system at my house (have had 8 WW memberships since 1973) and would like to know the difference from points vs. core - anyone familiar with it? Thanks, Marina

I'm not in Weight Watchers, was just checking it out. I was wondering how many points you are suppose to have in a day?

Depends on your current weight, and sex. Men get more than women of the same size.
I think a female weighing between 12-14 stone gets 22 points a day, 10-12 stone 20 pts, under 10 stone 18 pts. Someone may clarify (I may be 2 points over?? - not sure). You are allowed to carry points forward - for a party at the weekend, or a meal out etc, but you are encouraged to try and eat all your points for the week - otherwise once you drop the weight, and go onto the reduced points allowance, how would your body know that it's cutting out more?

BMI
According to my BMI I should weigh 115-154. I only use it to estimate what weight range I should head for, although I know it's not always an accurate indicator.

Is Quitting An Option???
One of the biggest thing I had to learn was not to quit after 1 slip up. Usually the guilt got the best of me, but I handle it a lot better now.
