I need some Ideas on what you all take for breakfast - I work out in the middle of nowhere - & take my food to work. I need suggestions of great brown bags for breakfast & lunch!

How about a turkey sandwich? Apple and peanut butter? Instant oatmeal? A smoothie?

I make a killer slow cooker oatmeal that makes 4 servings. I put it in individual cups and just take a cup with a 1/2 cup of 1% milk and microwave for 3 minutes. Add a banana and I'm good to go. I also put quick oats, vanilla, cinnamon, dried fuit, packet of splenda in a 2cup bowl, add water when I get to workand microwave for 2 minutes and top with banana...is this an oatmeal trend? I do love oatmeal though. Also hard boiled eggs are good. Make an egg and bacon (turkey or regular) burrito using a low cal whole wheat tortilla shell and reheat when you get to work. Good luck!

2 slices of Arnold whole wheat bread, any kind, all of them are almost the same with honey turkey, two big slices, this one tastes very good. Smart Balance butter, the light version (just a spoon, no more than that), tea with no fat milk, brown sugar. That is around 450 calories, little fat, totally healthy. Good luck. As an option, add a banana.

I like the Arnold Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins with a little Fat Free Cream Cheese and then reduced sugar strawberry preserves on top of the cream cheese. Can't even tell the cream cheese is fat free. Then I'll pair that up with some egg beaters. You can cook eggbeaters in the micro. Eggs and eggbeaters turn out fairly fluffy in the micro.
Good luck!

A can of sardines, salmon, or tuna on top of whole wheat crackers has tons of protein to keep you from getting hungry later, plus all three fishes have tons of omega-3's and you can just grab this in the morning, put it in a bag and go. Six regular triscuits = 120 cal, can of tuna =100, can of salmon = 120, and can of sardines = 190 (but it's the good kind of fat)
