I am just starting my second week on phase one and I am already getting a little tired of salads. What are you favorite dressings? I need help to spice up my boring romaine lettuce salads!

Hmmm, Spring salads. I'll try to think of something good as it is definitely a worthwhile undertaking (at the moment a great dressing comes to mind but it is for summer tomatoes).

I love maple grove farms Fat-free Balsamic vinegarette. You could make your own honey mustard too...Mustard, S/f vanilla syrup and water to thin to desired consistency...shake, shake, shake. This is good with chicken too.
The Asian Sesame David mentioned is terrific! I will bring that to work in a little container with a splash of Balsamic If I'm looking for a less sweet dressing, too.

yumm...I make my own. 2 tbs lemon juice, 1-2 (based on preference) cloves of garlic, minced, 1/4 tsp kosher salt, 1/4 tsp ground pepper, 6 tablespoons EVOO - wisk all together...makes about 3 servings (2 tbs each).
No yucky stuff and tastes soooo good!

There is nothing like aged italian balsamic vinegar. I also use an organic grapeseed oil. Add some kosher salt, a dash of oregano, a big chunk of garlic and ground pepper.
For a change add a dash of honey, a few drops of lemon and mustard powder or seed.
Change 2: add a dash of orange juice to the balsamin and oil, a touch of sesame oil and some thai spice from Epicure (if you have that in the US) I also throw in some hot chili flakes.
Experiment, makes salads better. So do a handful of nuts like walnuts, pine nuts or almond slivers with a few crumbles of blue cheese, feta or goats cheese (all low fat of course)
I get real wild and throw in dried cranberries too.

Salad dressing
Your best bet is to make your own if you can. I haven't been able to find a store bought one without a bunch of sugar and additives, but maybe someone else has.
